Bootsverleih beziehungsweise Bootsvermietung oder Bootsvercharterter werden Unternehmen genannt, die gegen Gebühren Boote, meist Segelboote, Yachten und Motorboote vermieten. Bei der Yachtvermietung spricht man zumeist von Charter-Unternehmen. Der Bootsverleih hat zum Ziel, dass eine Person ein Wasserfahrzeug anmietet, um mit diesem selbst fahren zu können. Die meisten Verleiher setzen, außer bei Tretbooten und ähnlichem, voraus das der Mieter die für das Revier erforderlichen Berechtigungen besitzt. Aus versicherungstechnischen Gründen auch wenn der Gesetzgeber hier keine verlangt wie bei Segelbooten ohne Motor. Meist die üblichen DSV-Scheine als Befähigungsnachweis angenommen.
