Auf der Entbindungsstation werden Frauen vor, während und nach einer Entbindung sowie Schwangere, die einer stationären Diagnostik und Behandlung bedürfen, betreut.[1][2] Ebenso werden die Neugeborenen bis zur Entlassung der Mutter aus der Klinik betreut und medizinisch versorgt.
