Ein Fackelzug ist ein nächtlicher Umzug vieler Personen mit brennenden Fackeln. Insbesondere in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus wurde er zu Propagandazwecken eingesetzt. Zuvor wurden Fackelzüge lange vor allem von Jugendlichen veranstaltet - einerseits zur Unterhaltung oder als gestaltendes Element für Ferienlager, etwa bei Pfadfindern, der Jungschar, den Falken, bei Nachtübungen oder als Abschluss von Lagerfeuern, andererseits für religiöse Zwecke oder für politische Demonstrationen.
