Ein Immunserum ist eine Aufreinigung spezifischer Antikörper, die aus dem Blutserum immunisierter anderer Säugetiere oder Menschen gewonnen werden. Man spricht speziell von Impfserum, wenn das Immunserum zum Zweck der passiven Impfung gewonnen wird. Im Zusammenhang mit der Behandlung von Vergiftungen wird dagegen der Begriff Antiserum verwendet. Heilserum ist ein weiterer, veralteter Begriff für diese besondere Art von Serum. Weitere Einsatzgebiete sind die Behandlung von Infektionskrankheiten sowie in der Forschung und Diagnostik der Medizin und Molekularbiologie.
