Als Mannloch bezeichnet man im Schiffbau, Anlagenbau und Apparatebau sowie auch im Bergbau einen Einstieg in einen Behälter oder einen Raum, in dem sich Menschen nur sehr selten aufhalten müssen. Ãœblich sind runde, ovale oder seltener auch rechteckige Querschnitte mit einer lichten Weite von 400 bis 600 mm, so dass ein normal gebauter Mensch ohne große Schwierigkeiten hindurchsteigen kann. Nur wenn regelmäßig große Werkzeuge oder Teile mit durch das Mannloch gebracht werden müssen, wird es größer ausgeführt.
