Marienglas, auch Frauenglas, Selenit oder Spiegelstein, ist eine Varietät des Minerals Gips und damit chemisch gesehen wasserhaltiges Calciumsulfat von besonders hoher Reinheit. Die großen, durchsichtigen Kristalle lassen sich sehr gut in dünne Blättchen spalten.
