Der Raummeter oder Ster ist ein Raummaß für Holz und die gebräuchlichste Maßeinheit beim Handel mit Brennholz. Ein Raummeter entspricht einem Würfel von einem Meter Seitenlänge, also einem Rauminhalt von einem Kubikmeter , geschichteter Holzstücke unbestimmter Länge, gespalten oder ungespalten, einschließlich der Zwischenräume in der Schichtung. Der Ster ist ein älteres Raummaß, welches einen Raummeter Holzscheite von 1 Meter Länge bezeichnet. Allerdings wird umgangssprachlich zuweilen auch ein Raummeter kürzerer Holzscheite als Ster bezeichnet.
