Relativpronomen stellen nur eine von mehreren Strategien dar, Relativsätze zu bilden; in vielen Sprachen gibt es stattdessen auch Relativsätze, die durch Konjunktionen eingeleitet werden oder uneingeleitete Relativsätze.
