Als Satzglieder bezeichnet man in der germanistischen Tradition der Grammatik die Bestandteile, in die der Satz ?unmittelbar? zerlegt werden kann. Das Satzglied steht insofern im Gegensatz zum Attribut, welches erst in einem darauf folgenden Zerlegungsschritt gefunden werden kann, also ein Teil eines Satzgliedes ist. Das Prädikat eines Satzes wird oft nicht als Satzglied gewertet, sondern als etwas, wovon Satzglieder abhängen .
