Dieser Faktor bezieht sich stets auf einen Zug im geraden Strang. Eine möglichst große Seilsicherheit soll die Gefahr eines Seilbruches und die daraus resultierenden Schäden verringern oder nach Möglichkeit ganz verhindern.
