In geringen Mengen auch Naturharz, Pflanzenwachs, Stärke, Zucker, Gerbsäure, Äpfelsäure, Zitronensäure, Oxalsäure und die anorganischen Inhaltsstoffe Nitrat, Kalium, Natrium, Calcium, Magnesium, Eisen und Chlor. Noch sind nicht alle Stoffe bekannt, aber man schätzt, dass beispielsweise in einer Zigarette und deren Rauch 6.000?12.000 chemische Substanzen enthalten sind.
