Die Tahina , auch Tahini oder Tahin, ist eine Paste aus feingemahlenen Sesamkörnern. Tahina stammt aus der arabischen Küche und ist eine Grundzutat des Hummus . Es wird auch gerne als Beilage oder als Dip gereicht, dazu wird es mit Zitronensaft und Knoblauch vermischt, oft mit Gewürzsumach leicht verziert.
