Durch eine Stimulation des Parasympathikus wird die Atmung zum Stillstand gebracht , der Herzschlag verlangsamt und der Blutkreislauf zentralisiert . Damit wird der Sauerstoffverbrauch auf die überlebenswichtigen Organe reduziert.
