Der Temporallappen oder Schläfenlappen ist einer der vier Lappen des Großhirns und macht dessen laterobasalen Anteil aus. Er wird nach oben und vorne vom Sulcus lateralis gegen den Scheitellappen und den Stirnlappen abgegrenzt, nach hinten grenzt er an den Hinterhauptslappen . Der Temporallappen enthält den primären auditorischen Cortex, das Wernicke-Sprachzentrum und wichtige Strukturen für das Gedächtnis.
