Die Weinflasche ist das gängigste gläserne Transport- und Lagerbehältnis für den Weinverkauf an den Endverbraucher. Zu Beschriftung wird sie mit einem Weinetikett versehen. Flaschen für Wein werden in vielen Größen und Formen hergestellt. Die gängigste Größe fasst 0,75 Liter Wein. Diese Größe ist seit 1977 EU-Norm. Davor wurden die meisten Flaschen in Größen zwischen 0,7 und 0,8 Liter hergestellt. In den USA und in der Schweiz wird diese 0,75 Liter-Standardgröße bis heute nicht durchgängig eingesetzt.
