Blaubart, auch Der Blaubart , ist ein Märchen . Es stammt von Charles Perrault und steht in seinen Histoires ou contes du temps passé, avec des moralités: contes de ma Mère l?Oye von 1697. Der Stoff um den frauenmordenden Blaubart wurde seitdem für zahlreiche Werke adaptiert und weiterverarbeitet. Unter anderem gelangte er über mündliche Weitergabe durch Familie Hassenpflug als Blaubart auch in die Kinder- und Hausmärchen der Brüder Grimm ). Perrault selbst griff in seiner Geschichte wiederum diverse Motive aus volkstümlichen Erzählungen, Legenden und Balladen auf.
