Dachpappe ist eine mit Bitumen getränkte Pappe, die als Feuchtigkeitssperre in Bauteilen dient. Teilweise wird in die Dachpappe grobkörniger Sand, feiner Kies oder Schiefersplitter eingewalzt, um eine höhere Abriebfestigkeit und UV-Resistenz zu erreichen. Hauptverwendung findet Dachpappe als zweite Dachhaut unter Dachziegeln. Teilweise wird sie als erste und einzige Dachhaut bei der Bedeckung einfacher Holzdächer von Gartenlauben, Gerätehäuschen und Ähnlichem eingesetzt, was die Haltbarkeit aber herabsetzt.
