Ein Drachenboot ist ein besonders langes, offenes Paddelboot, das ursprünglich aus China stammt. Zumeist stellt es durch Bemalung undoder Schnitzarbeiten sowie einen dekorativen Drachenkopf und -schwanz einen stilisierten chinesischen Drachen dar. Die Boote werden heute weltweit als Sportboote oder bei Veranstaltungen verwendet und auch dann als Drachenboot bezeichnet, wenn auf die dekorativen Elemente verzichtet wird.
