Electronic Stability Control , im deutschsprachigen Raum häufig auch mit ?ESP? für Elektronisches Stabilitätsprogramm abgekürzt, bezeichnet ein elektronisch gesteuertes Fahrassistenzsystem für Kraftfahrzeuge, das durch gezieltes Abbremsen einzelner Räder dem Ausbrechen des Wagens entgegenwirkt. ESC ist eine Erweiterung und Verknüpfung des Antiblockiersystems mit einer Antriebsschlupfregelung und einer Elektronischen Bremskraftverteilung sowie mit einem Bremsassistenten, bei LKW mit dem elektronischen Bremssystem kombiniert.
