Hierzu werden insbesondere Tätigkeiten im Bereich des Pflegedienstes , der Innenreinigung von Gebäuden und Kindererziehung gerechnet, sowie solche in Berufsfeldern, die sich mit Kosmetik oder Hairstyling befassen. Während der Frauenanteil in den von Männern dominierten Bereichen wie der Polizei stetig zunimmt, entscheiden sich nur wenige männliche Bewerber für Berufe aus diesen Tätigkeitsfeldern.
