Eine Warnweste ist eine Weste in meist gelber oder oranger Tagesleuchtfarbe mit retroreflektierenden Streifen, die zur besseren Sichtbarkeit von Personen dient. Sie wurde bis Oktober 2013 nach der EN 471 klassifiziert. Seit Juni 2013 ist die neue EN ISO 20471 gültig, die bisherige EN 471 verlor die Konformitätsvermutung nach der PSA-Richtlinie 89686EWG.
