Dabei gibt es zwar einen Zusammenhang zwischen dem Lebensalter einer Person und ihrem Dienstalter, indem ein ?treuer? Dienstleistender mit jedem Lebensjahr zugleich ein zusätzliches Dienstjahr erwirbt; aber dadurch, dass oftmals verschiedene Personen zu verschiedenen Zeiten ihres Lebens in den Dienst einer Institution treten, können gleich alte Dienstleistende ein unterschiedliches Dienstalter aufweisen, was auf ein verschieden großes Ausmaß an dienstlicher Erfahrung hindeutet.
